We offer therapeutic services for individuals, children, adolescents, and families, including Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Grief Counseling, Trauma therapy, Couples Therapy, needs assessments, education and skill-building services, and support for behavioral and emotional challenges.

2. Who can receive services at Haven of Healing?

Our services are designed for adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. We provide individualized support to meet the unique emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of each client.

3. How do I schedule an appointment?

4. What should I expect during the first session?

During your first session, our therapist will gather information about your goals, challenges, and history. This helps us develop a personalized care plan tailored to your needs. You can also ask questions about the therapy process.

5. Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept many Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare insurance plans. Check out our Rates & Insurance section

6. Do you offer sliding scale fees?

Yes, we offer a limited number of slots for sliding scale fee structure based on household income and family size to make our services more accessible. Please contact us to discuss your options confidentially.

7. How long are therapy sessions?

Most sessions last between 45–60 minutes. The frequency and length of sessions are personalized based on the client’s needs and treatment goals.

8. What if I’m experiencing a behavioral health emergency?

If you or someone you are supporting is in immediate danger or experiencing a behavioral health crisis, call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for immediate support. For urgent matters that are not emergencies, you can also call our office.

9. Is therapy confidential?

Yes. All telehealth therapy sessions are confidential. Information is only shared with others when required by law (for example, if there is risk of harm to self or others).

10. How do you support families and caregivers?

We provide guidance, skill-building, and family counseling to strengthen communication, foster resilience, and support the overall well-being of the family unit.
